The Third China-Egypt Sustainable Building and Construction Forum was recently held in Cairo, bringing together stakeholders from the construction industries of Egypt and China to explore new opportunities for cooperation in sustainable development.
Organized under CSCEC’s “UP WE BUILD” program, the forum brought together high-quality resources and expertise from both countries’ construction sectors, with discussions centered on strengthening supply chains, promoting greater localization and accelerating the digital transformation of the industry.
Participants also exchanged experiences and explored approaches to advancing green and sustainable construction, reflecting the growing importance of environmentally responsible development in the sector.
The forum provided a platform for industry representatives from China and Egypt to share knowledge, identify areas of common interest and deepen professional exchanges.
Through dialogue and the exchange of practical experience, the event contributed to strengthening cooperation between the two construction industries. It also laid a solid foundation for expanded bilateral collaboration in sustainable building, digital technologies and other areas shaping the future of construction.
The forum underscores the broader potential for China-Egypt economic and industrial cooperation, particularly as both countries seek to promote innovation, localization and sustainable development in their infrastructure sectors.
