Ethiopia–China Investment and Trade Forum Held at the Embassy of Ethiopia in China

Dr. Aziza Geleta Dessalegn, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ethiopia in China, addressed the Ethiopia-China Investment and Trade Promotion Forum, highlighting Ethiopia’s growing position as a leading investment destination in Africa.
She emphasized the country’s strong economic reforms, abundant renewable energy resources, competitive investment climate, and strategic access to African markets.
Dr. Aziza also noted that the Ethiopia-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership, established during Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s official visit to China in 2023, continues to create new opportunities for trade and investment while supporting Ethiopia’s industrialization.
Inviting Chinese and international investors to explore opportunities in manufacturing, agro-processing, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and the digital economy,
