The High Commission of India in Tanzania organized a Working Business Meet in Dar es Salaam, bringing together more than 50 Indian businesses for discussions on Tanzania’s business environment, networking and opportunities for deeper commercial engagement.
The meeting provided a platform for members of the Indian business community to gain a better understanding of Tanzania’s business architecture while exchanging views and building connections with fellow entrepreneurs and business representatives.
Addressing the gathering, H.E. Shri Bishwadip Dey, High Commissioner of India to Tanzania, briefed participants on the initiatives undertaken by the High Commission to support the Indian business community and highlighted the growing and multifaceted cooperation between India and Tanzania.

The event also marked an important transition within the High Commission’s Commerce Wing, with the successful completion of the tenure of Mr. Narender Kumar, Head of the Commerce Wing. Mr. Kumar is now proceeding to his next posting.
His departure was acknowledged during the gathering, providing an opportunity to recognize his contribution to strengthening commercial engagement between India and Tanzania during his tenure.
