On 6th August of 2026, Ambassador SUZUKI Hideo paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Chief Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the Honourable Minister of Power.
During the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated the Minister on his appointment and reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s sustainable development through quality infrastructure, technical cooperation, and long-term partnerships, with both sides agreeing to maintain close engagement to further strengthen Japan–Nigeria cooperation in the power sector.
