The Gulangyu Forum 2026 · World Business Leaders Roundtable for Global Investment was held on Sept 7 in Xiamen, Fujian province, as a sideline event of the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), bringing together more than 400 representatives from government, business associations, professional institutions, and leading companies to discuss risk management in overseas investment.
The forum featured keynote speeches, high-level dialogues, investment promotion, cross-border resource matchmaking, and cooperation agreements. Speakers shared insights on global business opportunities, overseas expansion strategies, and risk management, while the event provided a platform for cross-border cooperation and investment project matchmaking.
In a keynote speech, Wu Yonghua, executive director and co-CEO of Anta Group, said globalization was no longer an option but a necessity. He shared Anta’s approach of combining global planning with localized operations, offering practical insights for companies expanding overseas.
During the high-level dialogue, speakers from TUV Rheinland, DMCC, and other organizations discussed overseas compliance, cross-border investment risks, and global supply chain strategies. Cooperation agreements were also signed between the Xiamen International Chamber of Commerce (CCPIT) and several overseas business associations, further expanding the city’s international business network.
The Gulangyu Forum has been held for 25 editions. It aims to strengthen international investment dialogue, promote practical cooperation, and support companies in pursuing high-quality global development.
